-Don Ed Hardy- Tattoo Artist from San Fransisco. Trained by the godfather of modern color tattooing, Sailor Jerry. Sold rights to his name to Christian Audiger, who sold the “rebel without a clue” image to the beverly hills set sending orange folks everywhere into a feeding frenzy…Although, Ed hardy did catch up with professional douchebag Christian Audigay and sued the shit out of him for using his name for restarted shit other than t shirts, ie- “Ed Hardy Celebity Energy” Drink.

Fashion with attitude
Fashion has never known more attitude than when Ed Hardy, legendary tattoo artist, and Christian Audigier, the larger-than-life personality who’s responsible for the meteoric rise of the Von Dutch. Audigier has also left his indelible mark on Levi’s, Kookai, Naf Naf, Liberto and Diesel, amongst others. The man, once hailed as ‘the king of jeans’ by Sportwear International Magazine, gains inspiration from the American youth, vintage-inspired fashion, Hollywood and the motorcycle and tattoo culture. It’s no surprise to us then that he found motivation in godfather of tattoo, Ed Hardy’s artwork. Audigier then purchased the rights to Ed Hardy’s artwork and brought the fashion world’s first crossover from the gritty world of tattooing, to rock ‘n’ roll street style. In just 5 years, Audigier has brought the Ed Hardy phenomenon to over 40 international locations, and Malaysia has just tasted with our pierced lip and studded tongue the fashionable sweetness of the new Ed Hardy store at Suria KLCC.
Why? The KL fashion scene growing more and more discerning in taste, and Ed Hardy’s designs are sure to capture the heartstrings of those with an inclination for art and can find beauty amidst bloody roses or knives and sullen skulls – perfect for the rocker in all of us.
Who? Ed Hardy, whose unmistakably dark and edgy designs takes on a platform like no other when paired with Christian Audigier’s vision and impeccable talent in fashion. Now at 45, Audigier is known the world over as an undeniable fashion designer, lifestyle brand visionaire par excellence, and celebrity. A rebel with a cause, Audigier is setting out to create yet another global sensation, this time by incorporating vintage-inspired contemporary styles with tattoo-cultural themes.
What else? Tattoos are now not just limited to skin, the Ed Hardy collection features signature tees, denim, hoodies, caps & a long list of accessories for men, women & children. Audigiers has to date, signed an Ed Hardy motorcycle manufacturing deal, produced and distributed the collectible Ed Hardy energy and is still bringing Ed Hardy to the rest of the world. Future plans include more lifestyle products including housewares.
